Baba Sala’s Health Stable, Insists Son
EMMANUEL Adejumo, son of the legendary comedian and filmmaker, Chief Moses Adejumo, aka Baba Sala, has said that his father who was rushed to the University College Hospital in Ibadan on Monday, is “seriously responding to treatment” and would be discharged on or before Monday.
The younger Adejumo who is a staff of the National Troupe of Nigeria confirmed that the health condition of the octogenarian comedian was stable and that the medical team at UCH were satisfied with the rate of his recovery after he was admitted following complaints bordering on ‘pains and weakness’ but which Emmanuel said could not be unconnected with ‘old age’.
There were wide spread speculations earlier in the week that the veteran actor who clocked 80 this year, may have passed on after he was rushed to UCH in the early hours of Monday.
