Bridgegap Consults holds fair for job seekers

A non-governmental organisation, Bridgegap Consults, holds a fair for all job seekers in Nigeria on November 30 at NECA House, Plot A2, Hakeem Balogun Street, Central Business District, Alausa, Ikeja, at 10am.

Its Director of Business Development, Chiedozie Egbe, said the fair, tagged, ‘The Youth & Unemployment: Challenges of the current generation,’ is being put together to bring both job seekers and employers together, while still providing human resource experts and employers the opportunity to provide job seekers with knowledge into what employers are looking for and why some youths are not able to retain their jobs.

He said: “Unemployment and employability issues have become serious issues facing our Nigerian youths. Many complain of no jobs while organisations complain of inability to find job seekers with the right skills set and attitude. According to CIA World Fact book, 63.1% of our population is 24 years and below, which means we need to attend to the current employability challenges with serious concern.
