The Managing Director of China Harbour Engineering Company (CHEC), Jason Wang, has congratulated the Minister of Works, David Umahi, on his emergence as the Silverbird Minister of the Year 2024.

Wang noted that the minister’s application to his duties won him the award. He added that CHEC is gratified that in the lofty vision of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu to unlock Nigeria’s economic potential, priority attention has been given to the works sector, including appointing an astute and passionate minister to supervise the ministry in his determination to overhaul the road infrastructure architecture to stimulate the vision of economic regeneration.
