THE zeal to make the world a better place has been the vision of Ladies of Emerald Foundation, a non-governmental organisation, that has been impacting on the lives of the less -privileged since its inception in 2011.
Speaking at a party organised by the group, the President, Esther Agu said the reason why the group was formed was to put smiles on peoples’ faces.
“I have been asking God that if possible, I want to be a solution to peoples’ problems. I want to respond to peoples’ needs.
“Therefore, the essence of today’s programme is to let the world know about the existence of Ladies of Emerald Foundation.
“We want the world to know who we are and that with our little resources, we have the desire to continuously help the less- privileged. We, therefore, want people to partner with us with a view to achieving our laudable aim and vision”
According to Agu, the organisastion has visited Little Saints Orphanage, Modupe Cole, Akoka (Child Care and Mutant Home), Adeshola Clinic, Pedro and Anthonio Memorial Hospital.
The Patron of the organisation, Pastor Ndubuisi Agu, said: “It is good that we make the world a happy place for everyone. Whatever they are receiving as income and salaries are what they spend on the poor. ”
