Fasoranti hopeful Nigeria will be great again under Tinubu

• Says Yoruba race remains beacon of hope for Africa
• God will heal Nigeria, there’s hope, PFN restates

The leader of the pan-Yoruba socio-cultural organisation, Afenifere, Reuben Fasoranti, has said that despite the opportunities missed in the past by Nigeria to attain the desired status, the country will be great again.

Fasoranti, who emphatically stated that the country is on the right track under the watch of President Bola Tinubu, maintained that Nigerians would soon be proud of their nationality.

He spoke during the commemoration of his 99th birthday in Akure, Ondo State capital, saying that “hope is very much alive now that the country is on the path to progress and greatness.”

The Afenifere leader, while expressing gratitude to God for sparing his life thus far, stressed that his optimism about Nigeria’s future was based on inspiration and “the steps being taken by the current administration under Tinubu.”

He further stressed that his declaration that Nigeria is poised for greatness soonest was based on the Renewed Hope Agenda of Tinubu, particularly the policies being implemented and the vision that is being pursued with vigour.

The nonagenarian also based his optimism on Nigeria’s greatness on the abundant talents and resources with which “the country is blessed and the creativity cum prowess that the Almighty God endows us with.”

He, therefore, urged the Yoruba people not to relent because they remain the beacon for Africa, adding that the Yoruba race will continue to forge ahead.

“The future is very bright for the Yoruba, as they are increasingly becoming conscious of the historic roles they are to play in the emancipation of the Black race.”

RELATEDLY, the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) has said that to solve the myriad of challenges bedevilling the country, especially insecurity, economic hardship, to mention a few, there is an urgent need for God’s definite intervention.

National President of PFN, Bishop (Dr.) Francis Wale Oke stated this during his arrival in Uyo for a national executive retreat with the theme “PFN yesterday, today and tomorrow.”

Oke said God would use the PFN to bring the divine intervention needed in the country. He also gave the assurance that God would heal Nigeria, and there is hope for the country.
