DB Biomedical Ltd, a Nigerian-founded health technology company, has launched DB GlucoTrack, a web-based application designed to help users monitor blood sugar levels and identify trends through data visualization.
The platform, which became available on April 4, 2025, is targeted at individuals living with diabetes, those at risk, and health-conscious users seeking to track blood sugar-related health indicators.
According to the company, the tool is also built to support healthcare providers working with patients to manage blood sugar fluctuations and associated risks.
Biomedical engineer and data scientist Precious Ejiba, founder of DB Biomedical, described the app as a user-centered tool aimed at improving access to personalized health data. “GlucoTrack isn’t just an app, it is a companion,” she said.
“We have built it to grow with the user, offering insight, encouragement, and support through every stage of their health journey.”
The launch follows Ejiba’s remarks at the Amdari Women in Tech Roundtable, where she discussed the importance of combining data with empathy in healthcare innovation.
GlucoTrack presents a dashboard that displays patterns in glucose readings and provides feedback intended to inform users’ decisions regarding diet, exercise, and medication.
The platform currently offers a free trial at [https://dbglucotrack.com](https://dbglucotrack.com).
A mobile version is under development, alongside predictive analytics features that the company says will support early detection of diabetes-related complications.
Founded in Nigeria, DB Biomedical is expanding its presence into the UK as part of a broader effort to increase access to data-driven health solutions.
The company states that its tools are intended to support both clinical care and self-management in low and middle-income contexts.
