
Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MedPlus Pharmacy, Mrs. Joke Bakare, has urged the Federal Government to support locally-made products as the country is gifted with lot of potentials.
Bakare, who gave the advice, at the weekend, during the 90th store opening of the firm in Lagos, said Medplus would do everything within its capacity to cope with the increasing exchange rate.
The managing director, represented by her husband, Mr. Ife Bakare, who doubles as Head of Strategy and Innovation, said the vision of the company is to become Nigeria’s landmark healthcare store and pharmacy with a large record for professionalism, innovation and quality products.

Also, Head of Operations and Sales, Mr. Imeh Ntiaidem, said regardless of the challenging economy, Medplus had been able to achieve a lot in the area of health, as the firm is working towards achieving a sickness-free lifestyle in the country.
In the same vein, the Brand and Marketing Manager, Dammy Odogiyon, said the company had been able to meet up with some of its required goals, which include free health care services, free check ups, visiting orphanage homes and other Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities.
