Firm to deliver 4,000-bed student housing at NSUK under 25-year PPP deal.

Advent Integrated Services Limited has signed a 25-year Public-Private Partnership (PPP) concession agreement with the Nasarawa State Government, the Nasarawa Investment and Development Agency (NASIDA), and Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), to develop a 4,000-bed purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) facility on the university’s main campus.

The phased project, designed to address the severe student housing deficit in the region, will initially deliver 1,152 bedspaces, with future phases increasing capacity to 4,000.
The development aims to create a modern, secure, and supportive living environment for students, featuring well-equipped amenities to enhance the overall academic experience.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Nasarawa State Governor Engr. Abdullahi Sule emphasised his administration’s commitment to improving educational infrastructure, noting that the project aligns with broader state goals to enhance learning conditions and support student welfare.
NSUK Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sa’adatu Hassan, highlighted the impact of the project on the university’s growth, citing it as a significant milestone alongside recent campus upgrades, including a 4.5 km road network and a new Senate building.
Advent’s Managing Director, Goke Dokun, expressed appreciation for the collaboration, underscoring the company’s role in transforming Nigeria’s student housing sector. “This project extends beyond infrastructure, aiming to empower students, boost the local economy, and promote sustainable growth,” he said, adding that the company’s portfolio now includes 7,246 bedspaces across Nigeria.
The agreement represents a critical step in transforming student accommodation in Nigeria, reflecting the shared commitment of all parties to provide world-class educational infrastructure through effective PPPs.
