The former Inspector General of Police, Chief Sunday Adewusi is to be buried on Friday, April 8, at his residence, Adewusi House, Ilorin Road, Ogbomoso.

A statement signed by the former governor of Oyo State, Otunba Christopher Adebayo Alao-Akala, said the burial rite would commence on Tuesday, April 5 2016 with a day of Tribute and Cultural display at the MKO Abiola Hall, Ladoke Akintola University Technology, Ogbomoso

On Wednesday, April 6, the corpse will leave Bowen Teaching Hospital, Ogbomoso by 12pm to his residence at 40/42, Amilegbe Street, Ilorin, Kwara state for lying in state between 2pm and 4pm. A of Tributes and Service of songs would take place at the same venue by 4pm.

Commendation service will hold on Thursday, April 7 by10.00am at Immanuel Baptist Church, Sabo- Oke, Ilorin. Thereafter, the Corpse will leave Ilorin for his Ogbmoso residence where Christian wake will hold by 4pm.

On Friday April 8, between 8am and 9am, his body will also be laid in state at his residence, Adewusi House, LAUTECH area, Ilorin Road,  Ogbomoso, while the final burial service holds by 10am at Beulah Baptist Conference ground, Ogbomoso, Oyo state

His remains will be interred at the Adewusi House, LAUTECH area, Ilorin Road, Ogbomoso while entertainment of  guests will come up at Ogbomoso Recreation Club, Ogbomoso, immediately after the interment.
