The founder of The Land is Green Africa and author of Defining An Entrepreneur, Kehinde Olagbenjo (KJO) has urged the government to encourage entrepreneurship and Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) in the country by creating an enabling environment for business to grow.

Olagbenjo who is also a youth advocate and founder of Alaba online advised governments at all levels to invest more on the power sector so that the money being spent by individuals as well as big businesses in buying fuel for their enterprises could be utilized elsewhere, including expansion and employment of more people.

He said :“If government can encourage people and solve the problem of electricity, unemployment will be a thing of the past.

Government must play a huge role towards job creation by creating an enabling environment and ensuring that only the right people are chosen for jobs and not just those who are after looting the country.

We need to groom young entrepreneurs for Nigeria’s economy to grow. The wealth of nations depends on the wealth of their entrepreneurs.

More wealth will be created for the people and to achieve this, we need more entrepreneurs and small-scale businesses for Nigeria’s economy to grow.

Some nations depend on taxes but how will the government ask people to pay tax when they are unemployed and poor? The government will go broke if tax is not paid so, the citizens need to be encouraged to create wealth so they can pay taxes to government.”
