Govt trains 100 unemployed graduates in Ebonyi
AS part of efforts to reduce youth unemployment, the Federal government has trained More than 100 unemployed graduates of from Ebonyi State on career development and entrepreneurship skills under the Graduate Internship Scheme (GIS).
The three-day training programme, which ended on Saturday, was organised by the Federal Ministry of Finance at San Diego hotel, Abakaliki.
Flagging off the training, Director of GIS, Peter Papka, said that the trainees were carefully selected from the 13 local government councils of the state. He added that the training held for earlier interns ended up as catalyst for a guided and productive internship experience.
