AS part of its renewed determination to extend the frontiers of quality education to all Nigerians, particularly Deltans, the Michael and Cecilia Ibru University has disclosed that it will tomorrow make a formal presentation to the Delta State Government.

The unveiling of the university will be done by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.

The institution in a statement made available by the Public Relations Officer, Mr. Festus Anyasi, disclosed that the presentation would take place at the Multi-Purpose Hall, Power of Faith Building, the Michael and Cecilia Ibru University, Ibru Village, Agbarha-Otor, Delta State, by 11 am.

The statement added that the objective of the university was to among other things, complement the efforts of the government on Delta State in generating employment opportunity for all Nigerians; producing high-skilled level manpower who are globally competitive; and creating a stimulating and challenging academic environment that will have the requisite facilities for the pursuit of effective teaching, learning, research and the acquisition of a liberal education as are appropriate for a university of the highest standing as well as make those facilities available on proper terms to such persons as are equipped to benefit from the use of the facilities.
