Igbo Eze Local Government indigenes congratulates President Mohammadu Buhari on his inauguration

The indigenes of Igbo Eze Local Government Area in Enugu State have heartily felicitated with the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Gen. Mohammadu Buhari, on his inauguration which took place on Friday, 29 May 2015.

According to them, his matchless victory is well deserved given the overwhelming support he enjoy from well meaning Nigerians, the people of Enugu state, and Igbo Eze indigenes in particular, both home and abroad.

In a congratulatory message signed by the PDP Publicity Secretary, Honourable Sylvester Onah, he noted that the people are highly elated at Buhari’s election and expresses the hope that he would continue in the path of uncommon transformation of Nigeria and to open a new vista of hope and economic opportunities for ordinary Nigerians.

Onah said: “We have no doubt in your capacity to deliver on your electioneering promises given your steering leadership qualities, economic servy, administrative competence, and political sagacity.

We also commend the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for conducting an election that was widely acceptable and adjudged as free and fair with an impeccable outcome.

We also thank the security agencies who were professional in their duties.

We avail ourselves as Igbo Eze people, to continue working with you in championing the economic and political liberation of our dear nation.

We wish you a prosperous tenure in office.”
