Insecurity: NSA, security chiefs meet Fintiri

The National Security Adviser (NSA), Malam Nubu Ribadu, on Tuesday, paid a high-level courtesy visit to the Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, at the Government House in Yola as part of ongoing efforts to deepen security collaboration between the federal and state governments.

Accompanied by the Directors of the NIA and DSS, the NSA’s visit underscored the urgency and importance of strengthening intelligence sharing and improving the state’s security architecture.

During the closed-door meeting, discussions reportedly focused on enhancing coordinated responses to emerging threats and fostering stronger inter-agency cooperation in tackling insecurity in the region.

Fintiri warmly received the NSA and his delegation, expressing gratitude for the federal government’s continued support.

He reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering commitment to peace, stability, and proactive security measures across Adamawa State.
