LCCI to host confab, awards on food security
Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) will host the second edition of the AgroRealityLife Magazine Conference and Awards (ARELCA) with the theme, ‘Zero Hunger’ on Thursday, November 16, 2023.
Convener and Editor, RealityLife Magazine, Mrs. Oghenemairo Adegeye, said the conference would recognise and celebrate Nigerians and organisations for their immeasurable and relentless efforts towards ensuring adequate food supply in the country.
She added that the awards would encourage Nigerians and stakeholders to do more in the food industry and challenge others in the agribusiness sector, while the conference would create a platform for discussions and deliberate on key issues relating to food sufficiency, food security, technology and agribusiness in general.
“I enjoin patriots to ensure that they are good role models to upcoming youths in Nigeria,” she said.
She disclosed some of the categories of the awards to include Agro RELCA Outstanding Agro Export Company of the Year; Agro RELCA Tech Focused Company of the Year; Agro RELCA Outstanding Employer of the Year; Agro RELCA Fast Growing Company of the Year; Agro RELCA Outstanding Automobile Supportive Company of the Year; Agro RELCA Agro Equipment Fabrication Company of the Year; Agro RELCA Bank of the Year; Agro RELCA Most Supportive Bank in Agribusiness of the Year; Agro REALCA Most Supportive Insurance Company of the Year and Agro RELCA Logistics Company of the Year.
Others are Agro RELCA Advocacy Personality of the Year; Fast Growing Agro Tourism Centre of the Year; Agro RELCA Lifetime Achievements Award in Agriculture; Agro RELCA Outstanding Achiever in Cash Crops of the Year and Agro RELCA Outstanding Institution of the Year in Agric Products Processing.
