In a bid to equip pastors, ministers, workers, and individuals with spiritual, intellectual, and practical tools for personal and ministerial growth, the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), Festac Mega Axis, has held its Rising Higher Conference with the theme: “Occupy Till I Come.”
The event, aimed at igniting spiritual revival and repositioning the church for greater relevance, brought together 761 attendees, including all overseers, pastors, ministers, departments, and groups within the axis.
The conference featured powerful teachings, practical sessions, and vibrant worship, all geared towards empowering participants for kingdom advancement and societal transformation.
In his opening remarks, the Mega Regional Overseer (MRO) of MFM Festac Mega Axis, Pastor Irabor Enojiasun, expressed gratitude to the General Overseer of MFM Worldwide, Dr. Daniel Kolawole Olukoya, for his leadership and vision.
He noted that Dr. Olukoya’s commitment to both spiritual and personal development has shaped countless lives through training, seminars, and mentorship.
Speaking on the conference theme, Pastor Enojiasun urged believers to be faithful stewards and defenders of the faith, bearing godly fruit and living peaceably with all.
“The *Rising Higher Conference is a clarion call to reignite our spiritual fire and renew our commitment to the Great Commission. We must occupy until Christ comes by being productive spiritually, winning souls, and living exemplary lives,” he said.
He further reminded participants of the inevitability of accountability before God, stressing the need for a life that reflects godly character and purpose.
One of the highlights of the conference was a fire safety session by an officer from the Federal Fire Service, SF Agbede Olatunde Olaleye, who gave a hands-on presentation on fire prevention, detection, and response.
He covered key topics such as smoke handling, fire outbreak preparedness, and emergency response protocols.
Pastor (Mrs.) C. Sanya led a session on family and marital communication, where she emphasized the importance of faithfulness, sacrifice, and edifying communication. She described effective communication as the “lifeblood” of godly marriages.
Dr. Funke Nwobu, a medical practitioner, delivered a session on basic Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), educating participants on how to maintain breathing and circulation in cases of cardiac arrest.
She also addressed mental health and wellness, urging attendees to avoid anger, bitterness, and unforgiveness, and to foster peaceful coexistence regardless of religious or ethnic backgrounds.
The conference climaxed with a powerful impartation by the Senior Regional Overseer/Mega Regional Overseer of MFM Asaba Mega Axis, Pastor Moses Odunsi.
Ministering on the topic “Higher Grace for Higher Level,” Pastor Odunsi called for deeper intimacy with God, increased faithfulness, and unwavering spiritual commitment as keys to attracting divine grace.
Participants described the conference as transformational, noting that it not only deepened their spiritual lives but also inspired renewed dedication to their families, churches, and communities.
The event also set the stage for an upcoming musical concert, expected to further galvanize worshippers and elevate spiritual momentum across the Festac Mega Axis.
