
The National Environmental Standards and Regulations Enforcement Agency (NESREA) said it will soon unveil a more efficient system to improve the import clearance regime, aiming for a full integration with the National Single Window Project.
NESREA Director-General, Dr. Innocent Barikor, stated this when receiving the Project Manager of the National Single Window Project, Dr. Tola Fakolade, and his team at the agency’s headquarters in Abuja.

Barikor said that they have aggressively scaled up its system to a dynamic model that would enhance its productivity as well as interface with other relevant systems such as the B’Odogwu platform of the Nigerian Customs Service.
The Director General commended efforts made by Dr. Fakolade and his team toward promoting a unified platform for trade facilitation while restating NESREA’s support for the process.
Earlier, Dr. Fakolade stated that their visit was part of engagement towards onboarding of the Agency into the Single Windows Platform.
