NIESV begins national conference Monday

The Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV) will host estate surveyors and valuers in Nigeria and the Diaspora, alongside players and stakeholders in the real estate industry for its 55th National Annual Conference and AGM.

The conference will hold from Monday, May 5 to Saturday, May 10, 2025, at the Abuja Continental Hotel, Abuja. A statement signed by the Honorary National Publicity Secretary of the institution, Richard Olodu, stated that President Bola Tinubu will be the Special Guest of
Honour, while the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, is expected as the Guest of Honour.

Other special guests are: Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory; Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, Minister of Housing; and Wale Edun, Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy.

The statement also revealed that Dr. Zaccheaus Adelabu Adedeji, Special Adviser to the President on Revenue and Chairman, Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), will be the Keynote Speaker.

while highly experienced and resourceful speakers from both the public and organised private sectors will share insights on the theme of the conference, ‘Transform, Invest, Thrive: Optimising Real Estate Finance and Taxation.’

According to NIESV President and Chairman of Council, Victor Adekunle Alonge, NIESV 2025 conference promises to lay the groundwork for long-term economic growth and stability in Nigeria, benchmarking on real estate.
