The traditional ruler of Sarkin Kudu Chiefdom in Ibi Local Government Council of Taraba State, Ibrahim Adamu Sale, on Saturday, lauded Governor Agbu Kefas for successfully tackling kidnapping, banditry, and other criminal activities in the area.
In his Eid-el-Kabir message, the third-class chief expressed gratitude on behalf of the people of Sarkin Kudu, acknowledging the significant improvement in security since Governor Kefas assumed office.
“Before the administration of Governor Agbu Kefas, the situation here was dire. Kidnappers frequently targeted our people, demanding ransoms and making it unsafe for farmers to access their lands,” Sale said.
He noted that enhanced security measures implemented by the governor have restored peace and stability in the community.
“Governor Kefas acted decisively, and the results are evident. Our people can now go about their activities without fear,” he added.
The monarch emphasized the importance of continued support for the Kefas administration from both the Muslim and Christian populations in his domain, stressing the governor’s commitment to the overall development of the state.
“The governor has clear plans for the progress of Taraba, and we must all support him to ensure those plans succeed,” he said.
Sale also commended the strategic deployment of security forces that helped flush out criminal elements from the area.
In his Sallah message, the traditional ruler urged Muslims to embrace the spirit of sacrifice exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim, and called on leaders at all levels to emulate such dedication and selflessness.
