The governor lauded workers for their hard work, resilience, and dedication, urging them to continue in the same spirit.
According to Bago, “Work is never-ending; retirement is simply another chapter, another form of service. Therefore, it is our collective duty to ensure that our retirees, those who have labored for our state, receive their entitlements and gratuities without delay.”
Governor Umaru Bago restated his administration’s commitment to enhance the welfare of health workers, promising that the government would continue upgrading health facilities across the state.
He equally applauded teachers for their sacrifice and patriotic commitment, saying that teachers have devoted their lives to ensuring that children grow up to be productive and respected individuals.
Bago added, “Words are not enough to express our gratitude, but we say thank you, and may God continue to bless you all.”
Governor Umaru Bago, however, noted that in line with the Renewed Hope Housing Scheme initiated by the federal government, his administration is working towards constructing ten thousand (10,000) housing units for civil servants, pointing out that every worker would have access to affordable and dignified shelter.
