Zuriel Oduwole makes first US TV commercial in support of education
THE world’s largest education and learning company – Pearson, has featured Africa’s Most Influential Child – Zuriel Oduwole in her first US commercial.
It was first shown to 40,000 Pearson employees in their yearly convention in Miami, before it rolled out on other platforms and on TV. The commercial simply tells Zuriel’s incredible story in two minutes, as a Nigerian 12-year- old, doing the most improbably things across the globe.
She attended one of Pearson’s online learning structured programmes, via Connections Academy in California. She was chosen over millions of children, as her accomplishments were simply remarkable and heads and shoulders, above other students across the US in the area of supporting children’s education, especially girls. The most beautiful and distinguishing element in it all, is she is an African girl- child – a Nigerian.
