LAGOS State Government yesterday shut three warehouses in the Ladipo area, near Toyota Bus Stop on Oshodi-Apapa Expressway due to complaints about illegal parking of cars, which cause obstructions on the road.

Ministry of the Environment (LSME) gave the seal-off order during its tour and supervision of projects in the metropolis. When The Guardian visited the warehouses, traders and their customers were found loitering about in groups.

Traders at warehouses namely: Otors N. Alejolowo and J and F expressed their frustrations about the locking up of their shops.

Many of them said they came to their workplace to meet their warehouses shut. They also complained that it was a week after the ministry warned that their shops would be shut if they did not remove the stationary vehicles.
