Obiano in a radio/TV broadcast yesterday in Awka, also praised President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan for displaying what he called the qualities of a good sportsman and deepening democracy in Nigeria, just as he urged the president-elect, Gen Muhammadu Buhari, to strengthen unity among the various ethnic groups in the country.

Anambra State Governor, Dr Willie Obiano, has criticised the members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, alleging that they turned the election grounds into battlefield and hijacked votes won by the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).

He noted, “I must condemn, in strong terms, the brazen return of brigandage and lawlessness displayed in the last elections by PDP stalwarts in Anambra State, who hijacked the electoral process at the collation stages and came up with spurious figures as the final results of the elections.

“I must also condemn the shocking involvement of some security agents working under the payroll of these PDP elements who openly aided and abetted the cruel truncation of the electoral will of Anambra people as expressed in the votes they cast last Saturday.”

The governor, who was visibly worried, however, assured the public that the so-called victory of the PDP in Senatorial and House of Assembly would be upturned.

He added that APGA members have assembled the necessary documentary and material evidence that would “expose the bare-faced lies of the PDP.”

When you are dining with the devil, you must have a long spoon. APGA had alliance with the devil, and the result is for all to see. No tears for APGA.

Please Chief Obiano, spare us all this noise. Personally, i’m very happy with how PDP obliterated your party right under your nose.

A party as large and fundamental as APGA, you all refused to chose one of you and run as a party, rather you went out of your party to borrow a Presidential candidate (if you so much like the candidate, you all would have gone to the PDP instead of been hypocritical to your party). You and your party campaigned for the two parties and NATURALLY, the bigger party you campaigned with carried the day. So why the noise or drama.

At least Mimiko decided not to delude himself anymore / not to lead his followers blindly without direction and lack of self confidence, so he moved to the PDP, and thats what you ought to have done but you happily went into the marriage and the consequences of any marriage is for better and for worse. So stop complaining and accept all the way it is
