Speaking at the renewal of the deal, the Category Marketing Manager, Olympic, Raphael Agbaje, said that the choice to renew the contract of Peter Okoye was based on the success recorded in the first year of his ambassadorship, citing the dance show, Dance with Peter, Blue Santa among others as some of the amazing feats achieved.

According to him, the brand has grown in equity and sales in the last one year, hence the decision to renew.Marketing Director, Nutricima, Kalyan Bandyopadhyay buttressed Agbaje’s point adding that its choice of the award-winning Hip-hop Star is premised on the fact that his qualities perfectly portray the essential goodness offered by the brand including vitality, fitness and health, which the Olympic brand offers to youths, adults and families in Nigeria.

According to Bandyopadhyay, Peter Okoye’s persona perfectly fits into the brand’s proposition as the Healthy Choice and the brand that keeps consumers active for longer.

“We are very delighted about this partnership because of the success both parties have recorded since we started in 2015. Again, this renewal comes at a time we are launching the brand’s new proposition as the ‘Active for Longer’ brand and who better represents this than Peter Okoye, who is a fit dancer and accomplished musician.”
