Organisers Raise The Stake For Pearl Look Competition In Third Edition

FINALISTS in this year’s edition of the Pearl Look Modelling Competition, organized annually by TOKAD, an events management company, are in for a swell time as the company has finalized arrangements to fly them to South Africa for their final boot camp.

This plan was disclosed by the MD/CEO of the company Mr Ayodeji Olatokunbo at a recent media parley to announce the upcoming 3rd edition of the modeling competition that debuted in 2013.

Briefing the media on the progress made so far for the 2015 edition, Olatokunbo explained that castings for Pear Look 2015 were held respectively in Calabar, Port Harcourt, Benin and Lagos in November last year. Over 800 ladies came for the casting where only 15 models were selected as final contestants.

According to him: “These contestants will be travelling to South Africa on tour and they will be accommodated in Sandton, Johannesburg for their boot camp. While they are in South Africa the most glamorous model among the contestants would win a free night accommodation at the Michaelangelo Hotel also in Sandton, Johannesburg.”

He said the grand finale of the competition would come up on April 4, 2015 at the prestigious Oriental Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos.

“The Pearl Look 2015 winner will get a huge salary payment for six months and will also be signed for a one-year modeling contract at Ice Model Management in South Africa,” he revealed.
