Oshiomhole Is Biggest Blackmailer, Says Igbinedion
AS their war of words over the running of Edo State government continues, former Governor Lucky Igbinedion says the tissue of lies being credited to Governor Adams Oshiomhole makes the incumbent junior the greatest fraudster in the country, wondering why it took the governor seven years to squeal on the purported illegalities.
In a statement he personally signed yesterday, Igbinedion advised Oshiomhole to channel his energy into explaining to Edo people how he has squandered the over N1 trillion he collected as federal allocations and Internally Generated Revenue in the last seven years, stressing that “to deviate from the issues at hand and resort to cheap blackmail is a clear indication that he has nothing to show for the past seven years.”
“I have made it very clear time without number that the files of my tenure are there for everybody who cares to ask, to check. I do not intend to dignify Adams Oshiomhole any longer by joining issues with him. He should explain to the people of Edo State how he spent the federal allocations and internally generated revenues running into trillions of naira in seven years.”
