GOVERNOR Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State yesterday commiserated with the state chairman of Correspondents Chapel and Correspondent of the Vanguard Newspaper, Simon Ebegbulem, over the death of his mother, Madam Susan.

In a condolence message by his Chief Press Secretary, Peter Okhiria, Oshiomhole said: “I received with great shock the news of the passing on to glory of your beloved mother, Madam Susan Ebegbulem. I offer the heartfelt condolences of the Government and good people of Edo State as well as my personal commiseration over the sad loss.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with you, my dear brother, at this very difficult moment. From accounts of your mother’s life, we learnt that she was an industrious and virtuous woman, with impeccable character and a keen sense of fairness, equity and justice to all.

“I therefore know she helped shape you into the industrious, resourceful and insightful reporter which you are today.”
