Otti admonishes Muslims on peaceful coexistence
NO meaningful development can be achieved in an environment lacking in order and peace, therefore all citizens of Nigeria, especially religious, political and traditional leaders, must seek peace with one another and rise to the challenges of insurgency and other violent crimes, Dr. Alex Otti said said.
In his goodwill message to Muslims on as they celebrate the Eid El Fitr to mark the end of Ramadan, the Abia State candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the April 11 governorship election called for greater religious harmony and peaceful co-existence among the ethnic nationalities, saying that “Nigeria’s strength and potential lie in its diversity.”
He urged the Muslim community to use the occasion to pray for the President Muhammadu Buhari led-administration as it makes efforts to stamp out terrorism and corruption, as well as strengthen the nation’s judicial system. He further urged them to pray that the election petitions tribunals dispense justice impartially.
