He made this known in Osogbo during the free medical check-up scheme organised by OIRS and the state government, which was powered by Electronic Collection Group (ECG) in all nine federal constituencies.

Describing small business owners and entrepreneurs as critical stakeholders in the state’s economic sector, Hamzat reaffirmed the commitment of Governor Ademola Adeleke’s administration to effective health care delivery.

Speaking at the venue of the check up for Osogbo Federal Constituency,
the acting chairman of OIRS, who represented the state governor, noted that sound health of the masses is critical to manpower productivity and socioeconomic growth of the society.

Hazmat stated, “This initiative/exercise showcased the OIRS customer-centric approach and demonstrated its commitment to supporting the health status of business owners through this free medical checkup, affirming this generosity is Osun State government own way of giving back to the tax business community. In all, over 1000 business owners are benefiting from this gesture.

While commending the business owners for trooping out en-mass for the scheme, he assured that no efforts will be spared by the state government to prioritise the health and well being of the people.

According to Hamzat, the gesture would offer much-needed support to business owners and entrepreneurs with underlined ailments of any kind without knowing.

Hhe added, “I am very happy to see thousands of people coming to partake in this exercise, it’s shows that the relationship between you and the government is cordial.”

The event was attended by government officials, including the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Market Affairs, Lukman Moyoade, management and staff of OIRS and other stakeholders.
