The Peoples Democratic Party has charged President Tinubu to review fuel prices, electricity costs, and charges on critical services to alleviate the suffering of the masses.
This was contained in its Eid-el-Kabir message released by its National Publicity Secretary of the party, Mr Debo Ologunagba, in Abuja on Friday. The opposition party maintained that the high cost of fuel and electricity tariffs has taken its toll on the citizens who can barely have two square meals, calling on the federal government to take a second look at its policies.
According to the statement, the party charged Tinubu to ensure that the well-being of every Nigerian becomes paramount in his day-to-day governance, as signified by the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
“The PDP charges Nigerians not to give up hope but remain patriotic, continue to share at this trying time, and pray constantly for God’s divine intervention in the affairs of the nation,” it said.
The party prays for divine intervention in the affairs of the nation while calling on Nigerians to remain patriotic and reinforce their faith in the unfailing love, kindness, and provision of God.
The PDP also appealed to Tinubu’s administration to ensure that every recovered loot is channelled towards the provision of critical infrastructure, revamping the productive sector, and enhancing the operations of our security agencies.
