THE Police Command has arrested three fraud suspects over alleged illegal production and sale of police recruitment forms in Gombe State.

Parading the suspects at the command’s headquarters, the police spokesman, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Fwaje Atajiri, said the suspects specialised in swindling innocent members of the public by offering the illegal forms for sale at the rate of N500.

Atajiri, who gave the names of the suspects as Mohammed Bashir Ahmed, Musa Sulaiman and Shamsudeen Usman Abubakar, warned the public to be wary of buying illegal forms from fraudsters and wait for public announcement from police authorities when recruitment is due and recruitment details would be made known.

“The command is poised to invoke the full wrath of the law on these criminals that are bent on tarnishing the good image of the Force”, he said.
