Sambo commends INEC, appeals for peaceful polls

Vice President Namadi Sambo on Saturday commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for measures it had taken so far towards ensuring hitch-free and credible polls.

Sambo told newsmen after his accreditation at Ward 5, Kabala Doki in Kaduna that it took him less than
a minute to get accredited.
He also commended the turn-out of voters at the polling centre, saying it was impressive.
The vice president expressed the hope that the elections would be successful.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Sambo was accredited at 11:20 a.m.
