Senate Minority Whip celebrates Toby Okechukwu at 62

The Senate Minority Whip, Senator Osita Ngwu, has congratulated Rt. Hon. Toby Okechukwu, the immediate past Deputy Minority Leader of the House of Representatives and current Chief of Staff to the Deputy Speaker of the House, on his 62nd birthday, celebrated on 3rd August.

In his congratulatory message, Senator Ngwu described Okechukwu as a man of unprecedented legislative and administrative acumen, whose significant contributions to the legislature remain unparalleled.

Representing the Enugu West Senatorial District, Ngwu highlighted Okechukwu’s role as an inspiring figure committed to the progress, peace, and stability of both Enugu State and Nigeria.

Ngwu reflected on Okechukwu’s impressive tenure in the House of Representatives, where he served as the lawmaker representing Aninri/Awgu/Oji River Federal Constituency of Enugu State under the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) in the 7th, 8th, and 9th National Assembly. As the Deputy Minority Leader of the 9th House of Representatives, Okechukwu demonstrated his legislative prowess and dedication to public service.
