Stay focused, resilient in tasks to recover Nigeria, Tinubu tells new ministers
President Bola Tinubu on Monday administered the oath of office on the 7 newly appointed cabinet Ministers cleared by the Senate last week, charging them to stay focused and resilient in the task of working tirelessly for the country’s economic recovery.
The new ministers who took the oath of office at the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, were Dr Nentawe Yilwatda – Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction; Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi – Minister of Labour & Employment; Bianca Odinaka Odumegwu-Ojukwu – Minister of State Foreign Affairs.
Others are Dr Jumoke Oduwole – Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment (Trade and Investment), Idi Mukhtar Maiha – Minister of Livestock Development; Yusuf Abdullahi Ata – Minister of State, Housing and Urban Development and Dr Suwaiba Said Ahmad – Minister of State Education.

President Tinubu commended the new ministers for accepting to serve the nation, especially as the nation under his administration is currently facing a myriad of challenges requiring all hands to be on deck to salvage the country.
Addressing the new cabinet members during the occasion witnessed by Vice President Kashim Shettima, Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), George Akume, and other invited guests, the President said they “were called upon to join the team to rescue this country.”
