Suspected gunmen have killed the paymaster of Ekiti State Police Command Mr. Idowu Taiwo.Taiwo, a Superintendent of Police was reportedly abducted at a drinking spot in Ologede area of Ado Ekiti, the state capital on Sunday night but was found dead yesterday morning in his car handcuffed.
A police source said the deceased was at a pub just by the police station at Ologede when the unknown gunmen arrived at the place and took him away.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the command, Mr. Alberto Adeyemi confirmed the incident in a telephone interview.
