Wanted kidnap kingpin and terrorist, Nkwachi Eze, alias “Onowu,” has been eliminated by military forces, the Defence Headquarters (DHQ) announced on Thursday.

Eze, who was notorious for coordinating multiple attacks and kidnappings across the South East, was on the military’s wanted list before he was eliminated.

The Director of Defence Media Operations, Major General Markus Kangye, disclosed the details of the eliminated terrorist while briefing journalists on military operations for the month of April.

General Kangye described Eze as a leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). He added that Eze was eliminated alongside scores of other IPOB terrorists in April.
