Tsion Academy is a tuition-free school founded by Abayomi Adéọlá Della, aimed at providing basic and quality education to children in low income communities who cannot afford it. Our goal is to get over 1000 out-of-school children back to school before 2030.

It’s been ONE month since we started. One child at a time, bringing a smile to the faces of many parents who have always looked forward to quality education for their children.

We started with children in low-income communities, in Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria.
An understanding of laying a better foundation for our society through education is one of the things that drives us.

We are also driven by our passion to see children in low-income communities explore their dreams and the possibility of creating the channel for their dreams to come true, is exhilarating.

Our vision as a school also contributes to solving a global challenge because, with education, we create a leveled playing field for children who cannot afford formal education.

The importance of informal education, skill acquisition, and life empowerment is not lost on us, and Tsion Academy rolls formal education and the foregoing into one huge piece of education fiesta.

In one month, we have enrolled 40 children and given them access to a fully funded educational system.

We have deployed the skills of seasoned teachers who have over the month, imparted knowledge to the children whilst following religious curriculums that were curated to aid their learning.

Funding and partnerships have been extended to us by well-meaning individuals and this has made our vision easier to execute. We are stoked at the generosity every time.

Whilst we celebrate this milestone, we look forward to accomplishing much more in the coming months.

We have made it easier for individuals to partner with us, by commencing a Big Brother/Sister scholarship program, where the educational expenses of a child can be sponsored by an individual.
The cost of education for a child per year is #150,000 which is equivalent to $250 or £170. This amount can be paid per the sponsor’s preference within a flexible time frame.

We are also open to partnerships in the form of funding, educational items- stationeries, notebooks, textbooks, school uniforms, and shoes.

We strongly believe in the vision of Tsion Academy and we acknowledge its enormity, which requires a ton of support, partnership, and generosity.
