The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Activate Success International Foundation (ASIF) are exploring the prospect of enhancing youth development in the country.
ASIF founder, Love Idoko-Uloko, made the disclosure after meeting with the United Nations Assistant Secretary-General and the African Assistant Administrator of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Ms. Ahunna Eziakonwa in the company of the UNDP Resident Representative for Nigeria, Ms. Elsie G. Attafuah recently in Lagos.
Idoko-Uloko, in a statement, said that the meeting centered on potential collaborations and aimed at boosting youth empowerment initiatives in the country.
She said that the discussions highlighted the critical role organizations like ASIF play in nurturing the next generation of leaders and entrepreneurs.
Idoko-Uloko said “ASIF has been at the forefront of youth empowerment through its longstanding partnership with the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
“Over the past eight years, ASIF has engaged millions of Nigerian youth, providing practical training in entrepreneurship, leadership, and financial literacy through its Youth Entrepreneurship and Empowerment Programme (YEEP).
“The foundation has distributed millions of Naira in grants and business support tools, significantly impacting young Nigerians’ lives.
“ASIF’s impact extends beyond its NYSC partnership. The foundation’s Activating Success TV Show, now in its 10th year, has become a national platform for inspiring stories of growth, resilience, and innovation, reaching millions of viewers. This potential partnership with UNDP could further amplify ASIF’s efforts in driving positive change in Nigerian society.”
She said that the foundation will continue to collaborate with international partners, as it is committed to empowering the youth of Nigeria and driving positive change in society.
