US-based Imo Indigenes Support Okorocha

IMO State indigenes residing in the United States (US) under the aegis of the Imo Indigenes in the United States of America, have resolved to give their support to the Imo State Governor and governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Rochas Okorocha, in the forthcoming elections.

OKOROCHA-OKIMO State indigenes residing in the United States (US) under the aegis of the Imo Indigenes in the United States of America, have resolved to give their support to the Imo State Governor and governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Rochas Okorocha, in the forthcoming elections.

The group, in a statement made available to The Guardian after their meeting yesterday in the US, noted that it was giving the governor because it was satisfied that Imo State has been moving steadily towards the right direction under the leadership of Gov.Okorocha.

According to the statement, which was signed by the group’s Chairman, Mr.Okey Amuzie and Secretary, Mr. Charles Onyejiaka, Okorocha has performed above average by distributing school uniforms to pupils and students in the primary and secondary schools, paying stipends to students and constructing twin-storey buildings in each of the 305 electoral wards among others.
