Ahmed Preaches Peace
KWARA State Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed has urged Nigerians, especially Christians, to use the Easter season to pray fervently for peace, enduring stability in the country and divine guidance for the incoming
Muhammadu Buhari presidency.
The governor, who made the call in an Easter message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Alhaji Abdulwahab Oba, noted that such prayers by Nigerians would help the President-elect to run a purposeful government.
Ahmed urged Christians to imbibe the enduring lessons of forgiveness, selflessness and perseverance of the 40-day Lenten, the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ that Easter Season teaches.
