FITUR 2015 Kicks Off On Wednesday
FITUR International Tourism Trade Fair will starts on Wednesday January 28 and end on Sunday February 1.
The trade show with 10.5 million euros budget will hold in Madrid, Spain.
According to the organiser, IFEMA, the event will feature 9,107 companies from 165 countries and about 200,000 visitors from around the world, of which 120,000 are professionals.
FITUR 2015 is supported by the sector’s principal agents, the World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO), the Spanish Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism as well as the businesses and entities represented in its Organising Committee.
Topics to be addressed at event include tourism investment in Africa, the future of tourism in the Middle East and North Africa, FITUR Models of sustainable tourism production and consumption, the role of technology in accessible tourism for all and shopping tourism.
UNWTO will present Awards for best practices in tourism innovation, including the various categories Public Policy and Governance, Enterprises, Non-Governmental Organizations and Research and Technology.
