As Afrobeats continues its meteoric rise on the global stage, the genre’s superstars, Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, well known as Ayra Starr, and Ahmed Ololade (Asake) have been unveiled as part of the headline artistes for the Summer Jam 2025 schedule to hold in June.
The inclusion of both artistes in this year’s signals yet another milestone for the genre and its growing influence on the global music scene. Renowned for bringing together top talents in hip-hop, R&B, and Afrobeats, the annual festival, promises another electrifying edition with these two music powerhouses leading the lineup.
Produced by The Black Promoters Collective and part of the Prudential North to Shore Festival, the ultimate one-night-only celebration of the culture will have the biggest names in Hip Hop take the stage on Friday, June 20 live from Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
As the largest Hip Hop concert in the United States, Summer Jam is more than just a show — it’s a movement.
