Highly accomplished gospel singer, songwriter, worship leader and author, Osinachi Kalu Okoro Egbu, known professionally as Sinach, was surprised by her husband, Pastor Joseph Egbu with a lavish birthday bash on Tuesday, April 8 in Lagos.
 
Held at the Monarch Event Centre, Ikate-Elegushi, Lekki, the shindig was a day to remember, as friends, family, and fans gathered in a joyous celebration. The event was a testament to the love and admiration she has earned through her inspiring music and ministry.
 
The surprise party was meticulously planned to ensure she felt cherished and appreciated. As she walked into the venue, she was met with cheers and applause from the crowd, all eager to honour her on her special day.
 
Egbu, a well-known figure in the Christian community and pastor at Christ Embassy, had pulled off the surprise party, hosting friends and prominent personalities such as the President of Benson Idahosa University, Bishop F.E.B. Idahosa; Living Faith Church Worldwide National Youth Pastor, Steve Ogah and wife, Love Oyedepeo-Ogah; Olori of the Ife Kingdom and founder of African Fashion Week, Queen Ronke Ademiluyi-Ogunwusi.
 
Others are former adviser to Prime Minister Theresa May and Director of Diversity at King Charles’s Charity, the Prince’s Trust, Nero Ughwujabo; Dr. Susan Fajana-Thomas OBE, SL Kemi Balogun; gospel artistes Buchi Atuonwu, Ada Ehi, Rotimi Akinfenwa also known as Rotimikeys, Ayo Vincent, and Mary Akpobome, wife of Alibaba.
 
The atmosphere was filled with music and laughter, making it a truly unforgettable experience. Ada Ehi set the tone with the hit song Congratulation to welcome Sinach on arrival at exactly 7:10pm, while Bishop F.E.B Idahosa opened the night with a solemn prayer.
 
Worship leader, songwriter, and author, Ayo Vincent alongside other gospel artistes thereafter took turns to serenade guests with worship medley and praises from their respective catalogs. Media personality and comedian, Steve Onu, well known as Yaw and Dan D Humourous, ensured there was never a dull moment with rib-cracking jokes.
