In a country bursting with untapped talent and youthful energy, few individuals are turning vision into action like Precious Dorti, a 24-year-old entrepreneur from Okere, Warri, in Delta State. As the Founder and CEO of Perrypays Services Limited, Dorti is quickly establishing himself as one of the new generation of Nigerian innovators who are blending technology, business, and social responsibility to build a better future.
Founded in 2019, Perrypays Services Ltd started as a digital payments platform aimed at improving financial access for the average Nigerian. The company has since grown into a notable name in the fintech space, now boasting fully operational offices in Warri and Abuja, and servicing a growing number of users across the country.
“Our mission has always been simple—make financial transactions easier, safer, and more inclusive,” said Dorti in an interview. “Perrypays isn’t just a company, it’s a solution for people who need it most.”
The fintech platform offers a wide range of services including mobile payments, airtime recharge, utility bill payments, agent banking, and small business support, helping to bridge the gap between urban convenience and rural accessibility.
But Precious Dorti’s vision doesn’t end with technology.
In a move that reflects his deep passion for youth empowerment, Dorti announced the Perrypays Superstars Cup—a large-scale, international football scouting tournament set to debut in 2025. This initiative is aimed at discovering grassroots football talent across Nigeria and creating pathways for promising young players to be scouted by top-tier clubs both within Africa and internationally.
“We have raw, world-class talent in every community, but most of it goes unnoticed,” Dorti said. “This tournament is about giving young athletes a platform and a future.”
Preparations for the tournament are already underway, with regional qualifiers planned across key states. The event is expected to draw scouts, agents, and representatives from clubs in Europe, the Middle East, and North America—placing young Nigerian players on the global football map.
In line with his commitment to social development, Dorti partnered with the Glow Foundation in a major education initiative in Makoko, Lagos—one of the most underserved and densely populated urban slums in West Africa.
Through this partnership, Perrypays is helping fund and construct new schools for underprivileged children, providing them with access to learning materials, qualified teachers, and a safer environment for growth and development.
“Where a child is born should never dictate how far they can go,” Dorti said. “With education, we give them a chance to rise above their circumstances.”
The project, currently in its first phase, is expected to impact hundreds of children, with expansion plans already in discussion with local community leaders and education-focused NGOs.
Born on October 14, 2000, Precious Dorti’s story is a reflection of determination and vision. He studied Science Laboratory Technology (SLT) at Oghara Polytechnic, completing his OND in 2020. During his school years, Dorti worked as a teacher at Lords & Kings Secondary School and later gained experience at Bman Digital Prints, where he developed key communication and technical skills.
These early experiences instilled in him the value of hard work and problem-solving—qualities that would later define his leadership style at Perrypays.
“I didn’t have much, but I had a clear vision,” he recalls. “That’s all I needed to start.”
Dorti’s work hasn’t gone unnoticed. In 2024, he was invited to speak at the Impact Nigeria Event, where he addressed a crowd of over 4,000 attendees on the subjects of innovation, entrepreneurship, and youth empowerment. His keynote received a standing ovation, and highlights from his speech were widely shared on social media and local news outlets.
His efforts have since been featured by several prominent Nigerian news platforms, with many praising his approach to leadership—one that balances commercial success with meaningful societal impact.
Dorti is also cultivating a strong digital presence through his Instagram handle @culturefatherp, where he shares updates on his projects, personal insights, and inspirational messages aimed at young entrepreneurs.
With big dreams and bold actions, Precious Dorti is not just building a business—he’s building a movement. Whether it’s through revolutionizing digital payments, scouting the next generation of football stars, or giving children in disadvantaged communities a shot at education, his message remains clear: impact matters.
As Nigeria continues to look toward its future, figures like Dorti are lighting the way—proving that with vision, integrity, and commitment to change, anything is possible.
