Businessman, Alafaa Kariboye-Igbo, has urged the Nigerian youth to be proactive in their dealings in life in order to sustain career advancement.

Igbo said this while speaking on how he was able to weather the storm and carved a niche for himself by building an empire of business ventures in a society where the socio-economic and political environment is not conducive to career development.

The River State born stressed the need for people to work hard for greater achievement in life rather than exhibiting bitterness and jealousy towards some accomplishments in society, adding that Nigerians should not to develop hatred for some people whose hard work placed them on the road to success, while envy and ill-intent end on a path toward failure.

“ Instead of focusing on your own goals, your goal becomes throwing off the rails of other people’s goals and at the end of the day you gain nothing but a mischievous satisfaction that you have destroyed someone’s dream”, Igbo enthused.

Kariboye Igbo, who hails from Buguma in Rivers State, south-south Nigeria, is a business tycoon and a quiet billionaire whose wealth cuts across multifaceted business chains.
