Babalakin Meets Probitas/B. Ayorinde, As BOA Lawyers League resumes

Fourth-placed Babalakin & Co. will tackle second placed Probitas/B. Ayorinde in the opening game of the Bankole Olumide Aluko (BOA) tournament, which resumes tomorrow after going on break for the 2015 general elections.

Fourth-placed Babalakin & Co. will tackle second placed Probitas/B. Ayorinde in the opening game of the Bankole Olumide Aluko (BOA) tournament, which resumes tomorrow after going on break for the 2015 general elections.
 
According to the organisers of the tournament, also known as Lawyers League, game two of the five-week old competition will see Advocaat taking on former champions, Lagos State Ministry of Justice (LSMJ), OAL will meet Aelex, while Aluko & Oyebode will battle with Ricky Tarfa.

Game five will Tayo Oyitibo/Bayo Osipitan tussling with UUBO, while Pinheiro & Co. will trade tackles with Banwo & Ighodalo.

Team Olajide & Tokunbo Orimobi will not feature this weekend.

The tournament features prominent legal firms, who gather to vie for bragging rights in football at the AstroTurf 2000 and also pay their respect to their late colleague, Bankole Olumide Aluko.

Before the teams went on the Easter and elections break, Olisa Agbakoba & Co. were leading in Group A with seven points from three matches, followed by Probitas Partners/B. Ayorinde, which have six points from the same number of games. Tayo Oyetibo, which have played four games, have the same number of points, but are placed third on the table, with Babalakin & Co fourth on the log with five points from three games.

Olajide Oyewole, UUBO and Aelex are fifth, sixth and seventh on the log with four and two points respectively.
