The Dr. Krystal Chanchangi Foundation, a non-governmental organisation committed to community development, recently organized a sporting competition aimed at nurturing the potential of young people in basketball and related activities.

The event, held in collaboration with the Office of the SSA Youth & Diaspora Police Community Relations Committee, took place at the MO Arena, Wuse, Abuja. Participants competed in various sports, with winners receiving significant cash prizes.

In the basketball category, the female champions walked away with ₦100,000, while the male champions claimed ₦300,000. The second-place male team received ₦150,000.

Founder of the Foundation, Queen Amb. Dr. Krystal Chanchangi, stressed her dedication to empowering Nigerian youths.

“I am passionate about helping Nigerian youths, especially those with limited access to educational opportunities,” she said. “Philanthropy brings me immense joy. I am driven by my passion and commitment to building a better Nigeria where children are neither hungry nor out of school.”

Dr. Chanchangi, a Global Cultural Activist and American Model, noted that her philanthropic journey spans nine years and continues to grow. She reiterated her resolve to create lasting impacts in underserved communities.

Notable attendees at the event included SSA to the President on Humanitarian Affairs, Hon. Delu Bulus, and Prince Chiders Udegbe, also known as the Billionaire Prince White, among others.

This initiative aligns with the Foundation’s ongoing efforts in education and community service. In September, at least 30 students from low-income households benefited from full scholarships covering tuition and books. Earlier this year, 50 pupils from Community Secondary School Oraifite, Anambra, had their fees paid by the Foundation.

The Dr. Krystal Chanchangi Foundation remains steadfast in its mission to empower and uplift vulnerable populations across Nigeria.
