The premier select player development program, widely recognized for its consistent success in training and scouting elite talent, hosted its inaugural invitational event to showcase the future of elite basketball in Nigeria.

Educational Basketball (EB) co-founders and event organizers Olutobi and Iseolupo Adepitan, along with Opeyemi Babalola of Webber Engineering & Hudson Nigeria, worked together to create a stellar event for young talent to showcase their skills, with international coaches in attendance to scout the players.

The event featured the Educational Basketball Elite team, coached by Olutobi Adepitan, Team Mezie sponsored by NBA veteran Chimezie Metu’s “Mezie Metu Foundation,” Additionally, Nigerian and European basketball standout Kaodirichi Akobundu-Ehiogu’s team, KAO Elite, sponsored by Akobundu-Ehiogu came into town from Benin, alongside Rowe Park, presented by Lai Alimi. These four teams headlined the event.

Team Mezie emerged victorious, finishing the event with a perfect 3-0 record.
