Sand Eagles coach pleased with players performance

The Head Coach of the Nigerian Super Sand Eagles Audu Ejo, on Tuesday attributed the success of the team to the comportment of his players.

The Eagles had on Tuesday beat host Seychelles 10-1 in the opening match of the 2015 CAF Beach Soccer Championship.

In a telephone interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) Ejo said the players had displayed high level of comportment which enabled them to easily defeat their opponents.

“I’m impressed with my players today. They were worried initially because we were playing against host country but we were able to pass that hurdle.

“Our next target is our next match. We won’t allow this victory get into our head, but it is indeed a good way to start the tournament,” he said.

NAN reports that Sand Eagles next match will be against Egypt April 16.(NAN)
