With his style of music which sets him apart from his peers, rising star, Love Osemenkhian Jatto is gradually becoming a household name in the Nigerian music industry.

Fondly called JT by his fans, the Edo State-born who hails from Ekpoma, is determined to make his mark in the industry saying his charisma and song delivery makes him stand out in the music space.

“What makes me stand out from other rising acts is my charisma and song delivery, My lyrics are very rich in parables and it is very interesting to listen,” he said.

Narrating how he got his stage name, the American-based Nigerian musician said, “JT was gotten from my last name Jatto’. I got that name when I was on set for my first Nollywood movie in Nigeria.”

According to JT, his latest Extended Play (EP) project titled ‘AfroBeat Kulture’, was inspired by his immense love for African Culture and the way it is being portrayed.

The five-track EP tells the slight story of the way Africans live and are perceived.
JT who described his genre as Afro-pop/fusion, is currently working on his forthcoming project.

“My fans should expect hit singles from me before I will then drop an EP. I have some A list artists on my next EP, which I’m currently working on. So they should expect more from me,” said JT.

Unlike many artists, JT doubles as a musician and real estate developer, he also is a football lover. “Apart from music, I want the world to know that I’m a great cook. I might start a cooking channel on TV/YouTube in the near future,” he said.
